GERB Japan is expanding its engineering capabilities and is seeking a highly motivated engineer to support technical consulting and project execution in Japan while collaborating closely with our international engineering teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop vibration isolation and seismic protection solutions for customer projects.

• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and technical evaluations.

• Participate in technical discussions with customers, consultants, architects, contractors, and end users.

• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and engineering proposals.

• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.

• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams in Germany and other countries.

• Contribute to the continuous development of technical know-how and engineering applications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in:

- Mechanical Engineering

- Civil Engineering

- Structural Engineering

- Architectural Engineering

- Earthquake Engineering

- Applied Mechanics

- Related disciplines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Professional working proficiency in English.

• Ability to communicate effectively in an international environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in vibration engineering, structural dynamics, seismic engineering, or related fields.

• Experience using engineering analysis software.

• Japanese language proficiency.

• Experience working with international teams.

• Consulting or project engineering experience.

• MSc, PhD holders are encouraged to apply.
