OutlinePlus is a growing, technology-driven built-environment business specialising in the digitisation of existing buildings through 3D LiDAR surveying, Scan-to-BIM, Revit modelling and as-built documentation.
We are looking for an experienced built-environment professional to take ownership of the day-to-day operations and project delivery of the business.
This is a senior, highly autonomous role for someone who combines strong project and operational management skills with architectural and Revit/BIM knowledge. Someone who enjoys being trusted to make decisions, lead people, solve problems and continually improve the way projects are delivered.
You may have trained and worked in architecture but discovered that your real strengths lie in running projects, coordinating people, planning resources, developing systems and processes, and making sure things get done.
The Role
You will take ownership of the operational side of OutlinePlus, ensuring that our projects, people and resources are effectively coordinated and that our production workflows are efficient, consistent and scalable.
Your responsibilities will broadly include:
- Planning and managing projects from appointment through to delivery
- Managing resources, capacity, priorities and delivery programmes across the business
- Coordinating our surveying, point-cloud and BIM/Revit production teams
- Reviewing project scopes, technical requirements and project handovers
- Managing client communication and expectations
- Monitoring project performance, deadlines and production efficiency
- Identifying risks and resolving problems before they affect delivery
- Developing, implementing and continuously improving project workflows, standards, processes and procedures
- Reviewing how Revit/BIM is used across our production workflow and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and quality
- Working closely with our Technical Manager to develop modelling standards, technical workflows and best practice
- Helping build an accountable, efficient and high-performing team
We already have many of the building blocks in place. We need someone with the experience and drive to challenge how we work, streamline our project workflow and turn good ideas into practical systems and processes that are consistently implemented across the business.
Who We Are Looking For
Ideally, you will have:
- A qualification and strong professional background in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a closely related built-environment discipline
- Approximately 8–15+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong architectural, building and construction knowledge
- Strong practical experience with Revit and BIM-based project delivery
- A good understanding of Revit standards, modelling workflows, project setup and efficient production practices
- Proven project, programme and resource-management experience
- Excellent organisational and client-management skills
- The confidence to make sound decisions and take responsibility for them
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- A natural interest in improving systems, processes, standards and efficiency
- Strong communication, leadership and people skills
Experience with point clouds, laser scanning or Scan-to-BIM would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is proactive, technically astute, commercially aware and comfortable taking real ownership - someone who treats the business, its team and its clients with the same care and responsibility they would if it were their own.
The Opportunity
This is not simply another project-management position.
It is an opportunity to take a senior leadership role in a growing business, with genuine autonomy and the ability to influence how the company operates and develops.
OutlinePlus works across a growing portfolio of local and international projects, and we are building the systems, standards and team required for the next stage of our growth.
For the right person, we see a natural progression from Head of Operations into a broader General Management role, with increasing responsibility, remuneration and performance-based incentives as the business grows.
If you understand buildings and Revit, but have discovered that leading people, organising projects, improving workflows and making things happen is where you really excel, we would like to hear from you.
