Senior Associate – Hedge Fund Middle Office Operations

What you’ll do You'll review monthly NAV packages, update portfolio accounting systems as needed, and maintain accurate fund accounting records. You'll build and maintain fund accrual schedules, calculate management and performance fees, and review monthly valuation reports with third-party valuation firms. You'll process, record, and reconcile performance reporting, contributions, distributions, corporate actions, and expense payments. You'll prepare and manage daily, monthly, and tri-party reconciliations of positions, trades, cash, market values, and accruals, ensuring accuracy between client records and custodians. You'll collaborate with clients, prime brokers, and internal teams to resolve trade breaks, manage subscription and redemption documentation, and support ad hoc requests. The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($70,000-$100,000). You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in financial services, preferably in hedge funds, fund accounting, or middle office operations. You possess strong knowledge of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, options, swaps, futures, and foreign exchange across global markets. You demonstrate excellent attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and strong accounting and analytical skills to support complex financial processes. You communicate effectively through strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships. You are proficient in advanced Excel and portfolio accounting systems such as Enfusion and Geneva, while being hardworking, dependable, punctual, and professional.
