Job Summary
The Senior Specialist, Human Resources is a dual-focus role supporting workforce enablement for the Proprietary Segment and HR business partnering for an assigned client group. This role uses data, analytics, and storytelling to translate workforce information into actionable insights for leaders, leveraging tools such as Power BI, SAP, PowerPoint, and AI-enabled technologies.
Reporting to the Director, HRBP & Workforce Enablement Leader, this role partners closely with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to align workforce data, talent priorities, and HR initiatives across the Proprietary Segment and to develop and implement coordinated workforce and talent plans, support HR program launches as needed, and monitor progress, adoption, and outcomes. This role also provides reporting and insights that help leaders assess workforce trends, identify areas of focus, and support employee development and program rollout across the segment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Uses in-depth expertise and experience to handle situations in various HR areas including performance management, onboarding, offboarding, compensation planning, training, benefits and payroll, and supports employees, leaders and HR partners through the performance management cycle within the HR system.
- Partners with Talent Acquisition and Compensation on staffing needs, job descriptions, requisitions, offers, leveling and pricing.
- Maintains solid knowledge of and ensures compliance with employment-related laws, regulations, policies, work procedures and safety rules, and liaises with Legal on statutory and legal issues.
- Builds the workforce story for the Segment — using Power BI, PowerPoint and AI-enabled tools to turn workforce data into clear visuals, executive-ready materials and recommendations leaders can act on.
- Tracks progress, milestones and adoption of talent and HR initiatives and monitors dashboards for workforce health, reporting key metrics and surfacing risks or opportunities for the Segment.
- Ties talent and HR initiatives together across the Segment so related efforts are sequenced and delivered as one plan, leading working sessions with managers and leaders to align on priorities and presenting progress and recommendations to HR leadership.
- Launches talent and HR programming as needed, including employee development programs — governance and rollout planning — coordinating delivery with the relevant COEs (such as talent management) and subject matter experts.
- Supports talent reviews, succession planning and capability assessments by preparing materials, analyzing data, consolidating inputs across operating units and tracking follow-through.
- Supports change management and communication plans, including execution readiness and contributes to cross-functional HR projects such as culture and process improvement initiatives.
