About the Role

Join a growing trust and estate litigation practice as a senior attorney ready to take on a leadership role. You will lead complex matters, support clients through sensitive disputes, and help guide the practice group's direction and development.

What You'll Do

  • Lead complex trust and estate litigation matters from inception through resolution, setting case strategy and overseeing key decisions.

  • Represent trustees, executors, administrators, beneficiaries, seniors, and their families in trust, probate, fiduciary, and financial elder abuse disputes.

  • Build and maintain client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.

  • Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the practice.

  • Supervise associates, delegate and oversee case work, and provide mentoring, training, feedback, and performance guidance.

  • Help shape the direction and culture of the Trust & Estate Litigation Group.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 8 years of dedicated trust and estate litigation experience.

  • A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.

  • Experience leading case strategy on complex trust, probate, or fiduciary matters, including will contests, breach of fiduciary duty, and elder abuse.

  • Experience helping build or shape a growing practice group, along with readiness to take on a next-generation leadership role.

  • Active engagement in the Bay Area trust and estate litigation community.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range is $225,000 to $275,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

This is a hybrid role based primarily in San Mateo, California. Pleasanton and San Jose offices are also possible work locations.
