Newcomb & Boyd, a multi-discipline engineering firm in Atlanta, Georgia is looking for a Senior Audio-Visual Systems Designer.

Responsibilities

• Support the company with the design of audio, video and control systems.
• Project engineering and design.
• Prepare 2- and 3-dimensional construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Prepare specifications and budgetary estimates.
• Coordinate design efforts working closely with our in-house disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners.
• Perform review of submittals and installed systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Demonstrates proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Possess a solid technical base with desire to learn, lead, and grow into Senior Engineer and Project Management positions.
• Prioritizes effectively, have good follow-through, and practice self-implemented quality control measures.
• Ability to communicate well in writing, as well as verbally
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.
• CTS certification (CTS-I or CTS-D or AQAV CQD) preferred
• EIT or PE preferred.
• Four to ten (4-10) years’ experience in the audio-visual consulting or integration business or related industries (corporate, education, or broadcast).
• Theatrical systems or live audio-visual management experience is a plus.
