The Opportunity

This is more than a traditional finance role.

As a Senior Audit & Finance Analyst, you'll work across financial reporting, technical accounting, audit, risk, compliance, and business improvement initiatives. You'll partner with local and global stakeholders to help ensure reporting accuracy, strengthen controls, manage risk, and support strategic projects that drive business success.

You'll have the opportunity to influence outcomes, build relationships across the organisation, and gain exposure to complex regulatory and reporting environments.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support SOX compliance activities, including testing, reporting, documentation, and remediation initiatives.
• Partner with colleagues across Australia, New Zealand, PNG and global teams to deliver high-quality reporting and meet key deadlines.
• Strengthen and maintain internal controls, governance frameworks, and process documentation.
• Coordinate control walkthroughs and testing activities with stakeholders across the business.
• Support internal and external audits and help drive positive audit outcomes.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and consolidated financial reports in accordance with IFRS.
• Research and interpret accounting standards, assessing business impacts and providing practical recommendations.
• Deliver regulatory reporting and financial analysis for regulated entities.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects, risk reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting efficiency.
• Build trusted relationships across Finance, Risk, Operations, Technology, and wider business teams.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in dedicated professionals who bring some or all of the following:

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Experience in financial reporting, audit, technical accounting, compliance, controllership, or risk.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience working with internal controls, SOX, governance, or risk frameworks.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering quality outcomes.
• Confidence establishing relationships and influencing partners at all levels.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a continuous improvement approach.
