We are looking for a Senior Automation developer (API Firewall) to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).
Must Have
- More than 9 years of professional experience;
- Advanced Python 3 and Django framework (or REST Framework) for building robust, scalable APIs and automation backends;
- Experience with asynchronous task queues (e.g., Celery / Redis) for handling long-running network operations;
- CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab CI/GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles;
- Deep understanding of Fortigate (FortiOS) and VMware NSX-T architectures;
- Hands-on experience automating firewall policies, address objects, and security groups via FortiManager API (JSON-RPC/REST) and NSX-T Policy API;
- Solid grasp of enterprise routing, switching, zoning, and micro-segmentation concepts;
- Good level of English Language.
