Company Benefits : Renumeration and Bonus Scheme, Development and Training, Progression Opportunities, 50/50 Hybrid/Remote working, Private Health and Wellness Scheme, 34 days Holiday Entitlement. 60K DOE Senior Automation Engineer - Responsibilities: -Lead Automation Design Projects -Design and test control systems: PLC, Scada, Robotics -Produce specifications, plans and cost analysis -Produce appropriate documentation for proposals and customer document packs Senior Automation Engineer skills/experience desired: Experience with Kuka robotic systems. Experience with Beckhoff and/or Omron PLCs but is open to other systems. Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems Expertise programming PLCs to an advanced level, producing high quality, well formatted programs Control Panel Design, Electrical drawings, and Bills of Materials A high level of technical knowledge and the ability to apply this to practical problems An understanding in electrical principles and DC circuits Experience of producing high quality, well formatted programs. Our projects can be based on a variety of PLC platforms requiring strong ladder and structured text programming skills Hands on experience of assembly and test of automated solutions Passport and driving license.
