Senior Automation Engineer (Desktop)

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer (Desktop) to design and build desktop test automation solutions for Windows-based applications. This role is hands-on and engineering-focused, ideal for someone who enjoys creating automation frameworks and solutions, not just executing existing test scripts. This position is strictly focused on desktop automation. Candidates with a purely web automation background will not be considered.  Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain desktop test automation frameworks using C# Build scalable and maintainable automation solutions for Windows on‑prem / desktop applications Apply Page Object / Object Model principles in automation design Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to ensure high-quality test coverage Analyze application behavior and define automation strategies accordingly Contribute to continuous improvement of automation practices and tooling Must-Have Requirements Strong C# development experience Proven background in test automation engineering Hands-on experience designing automation frameworks (not only running tests) Experience automating Windows desktop / on‑prem applications Solid understanding and practical use of Page Object / Object Model Professional working proficiency in English Senior or strong upper mid-level experience (no junior profiles) Important : This is a desktop automation role only. Candidates focused exclusively on web automation will not be suitable.
