What to do: Design, develop, and maintain automation for infrastructure provisioning, operations, and lifecycle management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and Python. Improve infrastructure-as-code and configuration-as-code practices, and help manage the DevOps toolchain, including CI/CD, artifact management, and secrets management. Contribute to the Internal Developer Platform strategy, architecture, and adoption, enabling self-service infrastructure and automation capabilities for engineering teams. Build AI-powered automation solutions, agentic workflows, and RAG pipelines that combine internal and external data. Design reliable AI interactions using prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool calling, and evaluation techniques, and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise workflows and platforms. Drive operational excellence through observability, SLO-based reliability practices, incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Automate runbooks and operational procedures, support postmortems, contribute preventive improvements, and participate in an on-call rotation. Implement secure and responsible automation practices, including least privilege access, Vault-based secrets management, AI guardrails, policy-aligned controls, secure data handling, and compliance with enterprise standards. Mentor engineers, share best practices, and help establish engineering standards for automation, platform engineering, and AI-enabled solutions. You check these boxes: At least 7 years of active working experience with Python focusing on automation, backend development, and AI use cases. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions. Hands-on active experience working with Terraform, Ansible, AWX, or Ansible Automation Platform in the last 7 years. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift. Recent project experience designing and implementing AI-powered applications using LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG architectures, vector databases, and modern orchestration frameworks. Linux administration experience, including RHEL, scripting, and runtime configuration. Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix, plus networking fundamentals including TLS, proxies, and load balancing. Solid understanding of identity, security, and reliability concepts, including authentication and authorization standards, secrets management, high availability, disaster recovery, API integration, and database fundamentals.
