Senior AWS Snowflake Data Engineer

As a Senior AWS Snowflake Data Engineer, you will be working for our client on data engineering initiatives focused on building robust, scalable, and efficiently orchestrated data solutions. You will contribute to the development of modern data platforms by leveraging cloud technologies, advanced data modelling, and automated delivery practices.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable data solutions using AWS and Snowflake.
• Build and maintain reliable ETL and ELT pipelines.
• Develop data transformations and workflows using SQL, Python, and dbt.
• Implement and optimise data orchestration with tools such as Airflow, ADF, or Dagster.
• Apply CI/CD practices to improve the quality and efficiency of data delivery.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
• Select and apply appropriate data modelling methodologies, including Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong experience with SQL and Python.
• Extensive experience with ETL and ELT processes.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Professional experience with AWS.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices.
• Experience with dbt and data orchestration tools such as Airflow, ADF, or Dagster.
• Practical experience with Terraform and data modelling methodologies, including Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault.

Language Required for the role: Communicative English.
