Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Azure DevOps professional at SlashTEC. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps, managing infrastructure as code, and optimizing deployment workflows for reliability and speed. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with development and operations teams, ensuring secure and scalable cloud environments, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues across staging and production environments. The Senior Azure DevOps professional will drive automation initiatives, enforce best practices for source control and release management, and contribute to architecture decisions for cloud-native and OTT/VAS-related solutions. The role also includes mentoring team members, documenting processes, and participating in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Azure skills, including Azure DevOps Services, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, and experience with Azure infrastructure (App Services, AKS, storage, networking).
• Candidates should possess DevOps and automation skills, such as CI/CD pipeline design, infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep), configuration management, and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Candidates should possess software delivery and tooling skills, including familiarity with Git-based workflows, build and release management, and integration with issue tracking tools.
• Candidates should possess cloud-native and containerization skills, such as Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), microservices deployment, and monitoring/logging tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving and collaboration capabilities, with experience working in cross-functional agile teams and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in managed services, OTT/VAS platforms, or high-availability, scalable production environments is beneficial.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Experience in mentoring or leading technical initiatives, along with a commitment to secure-by-design and best practices in cloud security, is highly valued.
