Role Description The Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available Azure environments to support Treasury Cube’s cloud-based treasury solutions. Daily activities include managing Azure infrastructure resources, monitoring system performance, and optimizing cost and reliability across environments. The role involves performing advanced system administration tasks, automating deployment and configuration workflows, and ensuring robust backup, recovery, and business continuity strategies. The engineer collaborates with security, development, and operations teams to maintain strong network security, troubleshoot complex issues, and continuously improve infrastructure standards, documentation, and best practices.
Qualifications

Daily activities include managing Azure infrastructure resources, monitoring system performance, and optimizing cost and reliability across environments. The role involves performing advanced system administration tasks, automating deployment and configuration workflows, and ensuring robust backup, recovery, and business continuity strategies. The engineer collaborates with security, development, and operations teams to maintain strong network security, troubleshoot complex issues, and continuously improve infrastructure standards, documentation, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Infrastructure skills, including Azure IaaS/PaaS design, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in System Administration, including OS management, patching, monitoring, and automation.
- Solid Networking skills, including virtual networks, VPNs, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Experience with Network Security, including identity and access management, encryption, and security policies.
- Advanced Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex cloud infrastructure and performance issues.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., ARM/Bicep, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability design in Azure.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment with clear communication and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) are a strong plus.
