Who We Are

Audicus is a health-tech company based in New York City. We are changing the hearing aid industry with a leading telehealth solution that streamlines the hearing care experience from user testing to product delivery - both for consumers and providers. We are highly mission-driven and have reconnected, transformed and empowered tens of thousands of lives to date

THE ROLE
We are looking for a B2B Senior Account Executive to join our vibrant team and lead Audicus's push into health plans. This person will own and close strategic new-logo partnerships with health plans serving the 50+ population, including Medicare Advantage, Dual-Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNP) and Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC/LTSS) plans, with a focus on making Audicus the hearing benefit of choice for plan members.

Audicus has built strong initial traction in Corrections, PACE and Labor Unions, and is now expanding into Corporate Employers, Public Organizations, MLTC/LTSS, D-SNP and Tribal Health. As our senior individual seller for health plans, you will focus on D-SNP, MLTC/LTSS and regional Medicare Advantage segments, bringing the relationships and credibility to open doors and the judgment to shape how Audicus wins in this segment.

This role is ideal for a seasoned enterprise seller who has closed complex deals directly with health plans and wants to build a segment, not just work one. Strategic thinkers who build lasting relationships, are comfortable with long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and still love closing deals themselves will particularly enjoy this role.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a company that is disrupting an industry and is making a lasting positive social impact in people's lives. The candidate will report directly to the Head of B2B Sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own and close a pipeline of strategic new-logo accounts across D-SNP, MLTC/LTSS and Medicare Advantage plans, from first meeting through contract signature.
  • Open doors at target plans through your existing network across supplemental benefits, product, vendor management, quality and executive leadership.
  • Navigate long, multi-stakeholder plan decision cycles -- including annual Medicare Advantage bid timelines, Medicaid managed care requirements, vendor credentialing and RFPs.
  • Build business cases that tie Audicus's hearing benefit to plan priorities: member experience, supplemental benefit utilization, quality and Star ratings, cost of care and compliance.
  • Lead pricing and contract negotiations in partnership with the Head of B2B Sales.
  • Develop territory and account plans for the health plan segment and help shape our health plan go-to-market strategy.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in our CRM (Salesforce), ensuring clear visibility into bookings and deal progression.
  • Represent Audicus at health plan and managed care industry events to build pipeline and strengthen our brand presence.
  • Coordinate closely with Account Management on the handoff from new-logo close to implementation, launch and ongoing account health.
  • Act as a go-to resource for the wider sales team on selling into health plans.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, including 4+ years closing enterprise deals directly with health plans and a track record of exceeding quota.
  • Established relationships with decision-makers at D-SNP, MLTC/LTSS, and/or Medicare Advantage plans.
    • Experience with hearing or other supplemental benefits (vision, dental, OTC) strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Medicare Advantage supplemental benefits, the annual bid cycle and Medicaid managed care contracting.
  • Track record of closing complex, long-cycle deals with many stakeholders, including RFPs.
  • Experience opening a new market or segment - comfortable building pipeline where there is no playbook yet.
  • Early-stage startup experience, ability to work with constrained resources and get creative, is a huge plus.
  • Fast-paced team players that are methodical, hands-on problem solvers.
  • Comfortable traveling for conferences and client meetings.

Compensation: $130-150K annually Base + uncapped commission (OTE ~$205-225K at full ramp) - compensation dependent on experience and location

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance (Aetna), 401K, Flexible PTO policy, Commuter Benefits, Additional Wellness Perks, Parental Leave Policy

FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt – This position is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
