Job Description
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Help to define server-side data analytics tech stack
- Build and optimize data analysis business logic
- Build RESTful web services to be consumed by single page application(s) using Express/Node
- Provide comprehensive unit and functional testing for all routes, endpoints, and features-
- Use best practices to help us optimize for developer productivity, reliability, and scalability
- Mentor and coach existing development team on standards, tooling, and best practices
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with data in a SaaS environment
- 3+ years MariaDB/MySQL experience
- Experience with server-side analytics and data manipulation
- Experience developing and optimizing complex dynamic systems
- Cloud/web analytics and reporting
- Data performance optimization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data caching mechanisms or other approaches to provide the fastest experience possible to our customers / web visitors when handling heavy calculations on large datasets
- Experience with machine learning and data normalization
Education:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- Specialization in data and graph theory
