Senior Backend Developer

StellarTech is a product IT company looking for a Senior Backend Developer. You will be responsible for developing backend services for the StellarTech Platform, building new functionality from scratch, participating in architecture discussions, integrating external services, and ensuring the performance, quality, and stability of the platform. The role is ideal for a senior backend engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working with distributed systems, and collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams. What You'll Do: Develop backend applications for the StellarTech Platform from scratch. Collaborate with Product Manager, engineers, and internal stakeholders to refine requirements, assess technical feasibility, and design scalable backend solutions aligned with business needs. Participate in architecture and technical discussions. Build integrations with external platforms and services. Ensure platform performance, quality, stability, and reliability. Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve production issues. Contribute to microservice and event-driven architecture. Use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity. What We're Looking For: 7+ years of backend development experience. 2+ years of commercial Python experience. Strong knowledge of the Python ecosystem. Experience building high-load or data-intensive applications. Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases. Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions preferred). Understanding of message queues, event-driven systems, and microservice architecture. Experience integrating external platforms and third-party services. Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Copilot or similar) to improve development workflows. Nice to Have : Experience with AWS and cloud-native technologies. Kubernetes experience. Experience in MarTech or FinTech products. Analytical mindset with a long-term approach to service design.
