About the Backend Developer role: We are very excited to be seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to work on our 3D virtual fitting product called FitsYou. We are working with some innovative players in the eyewear space and our 3D solutions will help brands set themselves apart from the competition. This Backend Developer position will have the unique opportunity to work closely with our product development team to shape this product for the 3D market. You will be working on designing and building the REST API and supporting systems to enable our consumers to enjoy our unique technology at scale. About You: REST API's Experience of delivering cloud-based projects, end to end Cloud and containers: AWS, Docker, Azure Microservices in C#, .NET Core DevOps, Cloud Architecture, Security Good design patterns and architectural skills - SOLID/OOP Use of CI/CD tools such as DevOps Pipelines Relational and NoSQL database experience Proactive, team player passionate about our technology who enjoys working in a collaborative start-up The ability to work with and communicate effectively with team members and business stakeholders BSc Computer Science or similar relevant qualification / or relevant work experience Must have the eligibility to live and work in the UK The ideal candidate will also be interested in learning some of these or already have some experience: CI/CD principles and working with QA teams Processing PII, Security, AAA, Penetration testing Machine Learning, Computer Vision Python, Swift, Objective-C/C++ TDD, BDD and automation What’s in it for you?
