For more information, visit our website. Job Description We are looking for a passionate and experienced Backend Engineer with 4+ years of industry experience. You will be working in an agile and highly energetic startup to build a portfolio of products, reporting solutions, and more. By joining the AssetIntel team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a variety of tools and backend services across different areas, including asset management, inspection management, capital management, IoT, and more. Our infrastructure primarily runs on Azure. As a Backend Engineer, you will work on multiple projects, analyze requirements, provide estimates, and be involved in the complete software development lifecycle. At AssetIntel, we believe that every developer is responsible for code ownership and works on the product's complete lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Technical Stack Database: SQL Server on Azure Cloud, Azure Table Storage Backend: C#, .NET Core DevOps: Azure Pipelines Cloud: Azure Responsibilities Our team is looking for strong developers to help us build the aforementioned set of tools and deliver high-quality solutions in an agile environment. Some of the core responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and web applications in a highly collaborative environment. Contribute to the complete technology stack, especially the backend and databases. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Continuously innovate and strategize on making our applications faster and more resilient. Prioritize and manage work while adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment. Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot production issues. Skills and Experience Minimum 4 years of experience as a backend or full-stack developer. Applications with less than 4 years of experience will not be considered. Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, time and space complexity, and object-oriented programming (OOP). Knowledge of database design and a strong understanding of SQL queries. Experience designing and maintaining APIs. Experience working with cloud-based systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-driven and able to contribute as part of a small team. Experience working with JavaScript and/or JavaScript frameworks is a big plus.
