We're looking for: A Backend Engineer with experience in Fintech or marketplaces who will be at the forefront of our mission to bring better finance solutions to millions of businesses in the United States. We need high-achieving and goal-oriented individual who will help Nitra to deliver on an ambitious roadmap of innovative banking and SaaS products. ***Note: you must be based in Taipei for this role Nitra maintains a hybrid work policy, with team members working from the office four days per week and Wednesdays designated as a work-from-home day. Your responsibilities will include: Independently communicate with Customer Support to investigate and resolve customer-reported issues. Design database schemas and APIs for small-to-medium scoped features. Implement features following internal engineering principles and guidelines. Provide estimates for their own work and communicate progress and risks proactively to the team. You have: Deep experience with and understanding of: JavaScript (3+ years) Node.js (3+ years) Express.js framework (1+ years) APIs (3+ years) Databases (PostgreSQL) (2+ years) The ability to see challenges as opportunities to level up. The base salary range for this full-time position is $1.0m NTD - $2.0m NTD + equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all Taipei locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, skills, experience, and relevant training. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary only.
