About the Role
Lead and grow a high-volume Chapter 7 consumer bankruptcy practice at a legal services firm. You will guide matters from intake through discharge, support case quality and throughput, and help develop the team as the practice expands.
What You'll Do
Oversee the Chapter 7 consumer bankruptcy practice from intake through discharge, including typical 90 to 120 day case cycles.
Work with the senior paralegal team to support case throughput and maintain filing quality.
Help hire, evaluate, and mentor junior attorneys as the practice grows.
Provide senior legal guidance on complex or contested consumer bankruptcy matters.
Represent debtors and communicate with clients in a friendly, professional manner.
What We're Looking For
At least 10 years of dedicated consumer bankruptcy experience, with a focus on Chapter 7 rather than corporate or Chapter 11 work.
Active membership in good standing with the Texas bar.
Experience managing a high volume of cases while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Comfort with legal case management software and the ability to adapt to new tools and platforms.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $120,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
