About Voltaiq Voltaiq was founded in 2012 in New York City by Tal Sholklapper and Eli Leland, driven by their mutual desire to tackle the numerous battery development challenges they encountered while leading two ARPA-E energy storage and electrification development projects at the CUNY Energy Institute.
