Ideal Candidate Profile:

A senior data architect, data engineer, or information solutions professional with banking and marketing experience who can independently identify data, develop SQL/ETL solutions, and help establish a unified data environment.

Tableau / Data Visualization

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Create visualizations that communicate marketing performance and business results.
• Build dashboards from scratch and modify existing Tableau views.
• Develop product-specific reporting and analytics.
• Translate complex data into meaningful insights for marketing and business partners.
• Help democratize access to data across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong, hands-on Tableau experience is a must.
• Ability to build Tableau dashboards and visualizations from scratch.
• Experience modifying and enhancing existing Tableau reports.
• Strong SQL experience.
• Senior-level experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and contribute immediately.

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Analyst to translate complex business problems into actionable data-driven solutions. This individual will partner with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and IT execution teams to gather requirements, develop advanced analytics solutions, identify process improvement opportunities, and deliver meaningful business intelligence through data visualization and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SQL, SAS, and data visualization tools, along with the ability to analyze complex data structures, develop analytical frameworks, and communicate insights that support strategic business decisions. Experience within large banking or fintech organizations is strongly preferred, particularly candidates with credit-related analytics experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and SAS for data analysis, querying, and analytical development.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or comparable platforms.
• Experience working with multiple data structures, complex data sources, and business intelligence solutions.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical requirements and solutions.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, data visualizations, and analytical insights.
• Strong understanding of data transformation, data collection, analytics infrastructure, and data engineering concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings to business stakeholders.
• Experience gathering and documenting complex business requirements.
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities, evaluate alternative solutions, and make data-driven recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous full-time employment experience with large banking, financial services, or fintech organizations.
• Credit analytics or credit risk experience.
• Experience leveraging Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) in business intelligence or advanced analytics solutions.
• Experience partnering with data engineering and IT teams to develop scalable data pipelines and analytical infrastructures.
• Knowledge of data governance, responsible AI practices, technical standards, and performance monitoring.
• U.S. educational background preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently lead and participate in gathering complex business requirements by partnering with stakeholders to define business problems, objectives, and data needs.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical frameworks and actionable business intelligence solutions.
• Analyze non-IT business problems and identify process improvement opportunities, alternative solutions, and recommendations.
• Develop documentation outlining current-state and future-state processes, business requirements, and desired outcomes.
• Build a common understanding between business process owners, technical teams, and solution developers.
• Develop analytical frameworks to evaluate financial impact, business value, and potential return on investment.
• Utilize SQL and SAS to analyze complex datasets, identify trends and patterns, and generate meaningful business insights.
• Lead the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions, including data visualization, data transformation, and data collection.
• Develop and support analytical infrastructures, data engineering initiatives, scalable data pipelines, and related business intelligence efforts.
• Apply data visualization best practices to select appropriate tools and present complex information through dashboards, reports, and analytical products.
• Incorporate prototyping, usability, and end-user experience principles to maximize the effectiveness of reporting and visualization solutions.
• Partner with IT execution and data engineering teams to ensure reliable, accurate, and high-quality data for analytical solutions.
• Collaborate on technical standards, data governance practices, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Explore and leverage Generative AI and LLM capabilities to enhance business intelligence and advanced analytics solutions.
• Apply quantitative and analytical methodologies to draw conclusions, develop recommendations, and influence business decisions.
• Provide analytical and systems-thinking expertise to help guide data, information, and application architecture decisions.
