**Senior Brand Manager – Amazon (Maternity Cover)**
**Schedule:** Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm Pacific Time
**Engagement:** Temporary maternity cover, starting immediately
### About the company
Our client is a fast-growing, Los Angeles-founded premium skincare and personal care brand. It makes high-performance body care, deodorant and fragrance inspired by the ocean and the outdoors, and is built for people who live an active life. The brand sells direct-to-consumer, through premium retail and on Amazon in the US, UK and Canada. Amazon is one of its most important and fastest-growing channels.
### About the role
The client needs an experienced Amazon operator to cover its Senior Brand Manager – Amazon during her maternity leave. The person in the role now is a key part of the team, and the business needs someone who can keep the channel growing without losing momentum while she is away.
You will start straight away with a handover period alongside the current Senior Brand Manager, learning the account structure, recurring workflows, reporting and live projects. When she goes on leave you will take full ownership of the day-to-day Amazon business in the US, UK and Canada, reporting to the VP of Amazon. When she returns, you will hand the account back cleanly.
This is a hands-on execution role from day one, not a pure strategy role. You will be in Seller Central every day across inventory, content and advertising, and you should be comfortable with an Amazon business of $10M+.
### Duties & responsibilities
**Handover & continuity**
- Shadow the current Senior Brand Manager during the overlap period and document every recurring process: replenishment cadence, reporting, listing updates, promotions calendar, ad routines and escalations.
- Take full ownership of the Amazon channel during the leave period with no drop in in-stock rate, content quality or advertising performance.
- Keep a running handover log so the returning manager can pick up again easily.
**Amazon operations & inventory management**
- Manage FBA and FBM inventory across US, UK and CA. This includes demand forecasting, replenishment planning, shipment creation and inbound tracking.
- Keep in-stock rates high and prevent stockouts, excess inventory, storage-fee exposure and IPI/capacity-limit problems.
- Work with supply chain and 3PL partners on timely, compliant inbound shipments.
- Monitor account health, resolve listing suppressions, stranded inventory and reimbursement cases, and manage Seller Support tickets.
**Content optimisation & listing management**
- Manage and improve product detail pages: titles, bullets, backend keywords, images, A+ / Premium A+ Content and Brand Store pages, with conversion and SEO in mind.
- Keep all content compliant with Amazon policies (including beauty and personal care category rules) and with brand standards.
- Launch new ASINs and variations, and maintain parent/child structures and catalogue accuracy across marketplaces.
**Advertising & growth**
- Run and optimise Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaigns: keyword harvesting, bids, budgets, negatives and campaign structure.
- Track ROAS/ACoS, TACoS, CVR, CTR and share of voice, and recommend budget changes to the VP of Amazon.
- Plan and run promotions and deal events (Lightning Deals, coupons, Prime Exclusive Discounts), including holiday and Q1 events during the leave period.
**Sales growth & market expansion**
- Find growth opportunities in new launches, promotions and the UK/CA marketplaces.
- Run competitor, category and search-term analysis with Brand Analytics and third-party tools to stay ahead of trends.
**Reporting & cross-functional collaboration**
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports (sales, traffic, conversion, inventory health and ad performance) with clear, data-backed recommendations for leadership.
- Work closely with the client's supply chain, creative, marketing and finance teams on Amazon initiatives.
### Who you are
- 3+ years of hands-on Amazon experience across inventory, content and advertising execution.
- Experience managing a $10M+ brand on Amazon, ideally in beauty, skincare or personal care.
- Expert in Seller Central and FBA/FBM, with working experience of international marketplaces (UK and CA).
- Confident with Amazon Ads (SP, SB, SD) and tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout and Amazon Brand Analytics.
- Analytical and focused on results: you can run daily operations while thinking strategically.
- Able to ramp up quickly, take over an established account with little disruption and work independently.
- Clear, proactive communicator who is comfortable working 9am–5pm Pacific Time.
### Why this role
- Take ownership of a high-growth beauty brand's Amazon channel across three marketplaces.
- Make a visible impact quickly in an established, well-run account with a supportive leadership team.
- Join a collaborative, fast-paced team that values ownership and trust.
