Senior Business Analyst

About the role

This is hands-on delivery. You'll own business analysis across one or more core domains, from workshops through to go-live and hypercare. You'll be in the detail, working alongside client teams and implementation partners, accountable for whether what gets built is right.

Location

Hybrid. Work from anywhere in New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Run workshops and turn the output into functional designs teams can build from
• Own the backlog for your domain — stories, acceptance criteria, prioritisation
• Work alongside implementation partners and make configuration decisions stick
• Drive data migration: mapping, cleansing rules, reconciliation
• Write and run test scripts, lead UAT, triage and chase down defects
• Build cutover plans, process documentation and business readiness materials
• Support hypercare and resolve what the first weeks in production surface

About you

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst on enterprise systems delivery, including at least one full implementation through go-live
• Depth in at least one of: customer and billing, finance, asset management, HR, payroll
• ERP or core platform experience
• Comfort in the detail: business process, data, configuration
• Strong facilitation skills and clear, concise written communication
• Right to work in New Zealand
• Experience in water, energy and utilities, financial services or government is useful
• Experience in large scale, complex change is useful
