About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of complex regulatory, card scheme, and digital banking initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging business and technology teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately captured, regulatory obligations are effectively translated into actionable deliverables, and projects are successfully executed in line with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead business analysis activities across regulatory, card scheme, and digital transformation initiatives.

* Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners.

* Gather, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and regulatory requirements.

* Translate regulatory mandates and card scheme requirements into clear business capabilities, user stories, and implementation plans.

* Manage and prioritize Agile backlogs using Azure DevOps.

* Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

* Produce high-quality business documentation, process flows, functional specifications, and supporting project artifacts.

* Support governance activities by ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

* Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business validation, and deployment readiness activities.

* Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements sessions.

* Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential impacts while supporting mitigation planning.

* Contribute to project status reporting and executive-level communications.

Required Skills & Experience

* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within complex IT or digital transformation projects.

* Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.

* Proven ability to work across business and technical teams.

* Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

* Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.

Technical Skills

Experience with one or more of the following:

* Azure DevOps

* Jira

* Microsoft Office Suite

* Microsoft Excel

* Microsoft PowerPoint

* Microsoft Teams

Banking Domain Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas will be considered a strong advantage:

* Digital Banking

* Payment Cards

* Card Schemes (Visa, Mastercard)

* Regulatory Change Programs

* Payments

* Banking Operations

* Financial Services

Knowledge or experience with the following will be highly valued:

* EMV 3DS

* Payment industry standards

* Regulatory compliance

* Business process modelling

* User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

* Requirements traceability

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

* Relevant Business Analysis, Agile, Scrum, or CBAP certifications will be considered an advantage.
