Help Shape the Future of Australia Post's Parcel, Post & eCommerce Services

At Australia Post, we're delivering one of the most significant transformations in our Parcel, Post and eCommerce Services (PPeCS) business. As customer expectations evolve and technology continues to reshape how Australians connect and transact, we're looking for a talented Senior Business Analyst to help drive meaningful change across our business and technology landscape.

This is an opportunity to work on high-profile initiatives that impact millions of Australians, collaborating with business leaders, product teams and technology specialists to deliver practical, customer-focused outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a critical role in connecting business needs with technology solutions. You'll work across discovery, design, delivery and implementation, helping teams define clear requirements, navigate complexity and ensure solutions deliver real business value.

You'll:

  • Lead requirements elicitation workshops and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Analyse, validate and document business, stakeholder, functional and non-functional requirements
  • Establish and maintain end-to-end traceability across requirements, design, testing and delivery outcomes
  • Develop key analysis artefacts including process maps, business rules, acceptance criteria and requirements documentation
  • Evaluate solution options and provide evidence-based recommendations to support decision making
  • Partner with Product Owners, Project Managers, Architects, Developers, Testers and operational teams to support successful delivery
  • Support User Acceptance Testing and business readiness activities
  • Identify and manage risks, assumptions, dependencies and impacts across the delivery lifecycle
  • Champion customer and operational outcomes through every stage of analysis and delivery

About You

You're an experienced Business Analyst who thrives in complex environments and enjoys turning ambiguity into clarity. You know how to build strong stakeholder relationships, influence outcomes and help teams make informed decisions.

You'll bring:

  • Significant experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst within complex technology, transformation, operational or enterprise environments
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills across diverse business and technical audiences
  • Proven experience eliciting, analysing, prioritising and validating requirements
  • Experience producing high-quality artefacts including process maps, requirements documentation, business rules, acceptance criteria and traceability matrices
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices, with experience working in Agile, hybrid and waterfall environments
  • The ability to influence and drive outcomes without formal authority
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Highly Regarded

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in:

  • Parcel, post, logistics, supply chain or eCommerce environments
  • Customer experience and operational transformation programs
  • Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio and other analysis and collaboration tools
  • Large-scale enterprise delivery and technology transformation initiatives
  • Australia Post systems, channels and customer journeys

Why Join Australia Post?

We're delivering transformation at scale, modernising how Australia Post serves customers, communities and businesses across the country.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Work on strategic initiatives that make a real impact
  • Collaborate with passionate and experienced delivery professionals
  • Influence business outcomes across a nationally recognised organisation
  • Build your expertise across technology, operations and customer experience
  • Be part of a team that values curiosity, collaboration and continuous improvement

If you're passionate about solving complex business problems, shaping better customer outcomes and delivering meaningful change, we'd love to hear from you.

We're delivering tomorrow's Australia Post. Come and help shape it. 🚀

What else is in it for you?

  • Bring your whole self to work every day and be met by a welcoming bunch of people who respect and support you
