Role Overview

The Senior Business Analyst serves as the Business Analyst lead for medium-sized client onboarding initiatives. This role is responsible for conducting due diligence activities, defining target operating models, gathering and documenting business requirements, and supporting the configuration of iFAST solutions. The incumbent leverages bilingual English and Spanish communication skills to effectively support clients, stakeholders, and project teams throughout the onboarding lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities for medium-sized client onboarding initiatives.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and define target operating models for new client implementations.
  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Translate business, operational, and regulatory changes into clear and actionable requirements.
  • Assess the impact of proposed changes on clients, products, processes, and systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and consistently interpreted.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions in both English and Spanish, as required.
  • Communicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Develop and maintain business analysis documentation in accordance with established standards and best practices.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure solutions are effective, sustainable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify, assess, and escalate project risks and issues while developing appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Apply business analysis methodologies, tools, and processes to support successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis frameworks, templates, and documentation standards.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and practicality of proposed solutions, considering risks, impacts, and trade-offs.
  • Maintain an understanding of applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client product offerings, including CLHIA, National Instruments, FundSERV, IACC, IFIC, and Federal and Provincial regulations.
  • Support project teams and stakeholders throughout implementation and onboarding activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant industry experience.
  • University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings, gather requirements, and prepare business documentation in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across teams.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated initiative and accountability, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong client-focus and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and service.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in ambiguous, fast-paced, and changing environments.
    Proven ability to assess risk, evaluate options, and make informed business decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of iFAST.

Salary Range

Pay Range (CAD $): 88,000 -112,000

The above reflects an industry-benchmarked target compensation range. The salary offered may vary based upon the candidate’s skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business needs.
