Senior Business Analyst – Coupa / Procurement Data Integration

Location: Marlow, Buckinghamshire (Flexible Hybrid) or Tokyo, Japan

Contract: Initial 12 months, with potential extensions

The Opportunity

TechNET has partnered with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation specialising in innovative treatments for rare diseases, with an established international presence across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America.

As part of a major global procurement and data transformation programme, we are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong Coupa implementation expertise to support the integration of procurement systems into an established enterprise data platform.

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in a high-profile international programme, working closely with business stakeholders in Japan and technical delivery teams in the UK.

The Role

You will act as the bridge between procurement stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into effective data integration and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement across global procurement functions.
• Support the implementation and integration of Coupa into an established enterprise data platform.
• Analyse procurement processes, data structures and reporting requirements.
• Work closely with data architects and engineers to define data mapping, integration requirements and reporting solutions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, BRDs and technical documentation.
• Define procurement KPIs, reporting frameworks and business intelligence requirements.
• Support the integration of procurement data across Coupa, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and financial planning systems.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders to standardise procurement reporting and improve data visibility.

Essential Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Business Analysis, Procurement Systems or Coupa Consulting.
• Proven experience delivering multiple successful Coupa implementations, ideally involving data integration.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, including Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), supplier management and spend analytics.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into data integration and reporting solutions.
• Understanding of procurement data structures, data mapping and system integrations.
• Experience defining business KPIs and reporting requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and advise senior business stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
• Power BI and procurement reporting
• Azure Data Factory, Databricks or enterprise data platforms
• CCH Tagetik or financial planning systems
• Pharmaceutical, manufacturing or other complex global environments
• Japanese language proficiency

Japanese and English bilingual candidates are particularly encouraged to apply, although strong English-speaking or Japanese-speaking candidates with the relevant Coupa expertise will also be considered.
