Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d) Payments / FINMA / Resilience / BCM / Business Engineering / 100% / ZH

Project: As part of a project to implement the FINMA resilience requirements (RS2023/1), a contingency solution for payments is being designed and implemented. The focus is on the analysis, specification and coordination of business and technical requirements at the epic, feature and story levels (SAFe), in close collaboration with business departments, IT, Business Continuity Management (BCM) and external partners. The aim is to ensure a robust, regulatory-compliant solution, including integration into a mini-core banking architecture, as well as the coordination of interfaces and data flows.

Responsibilities:

•Capturing, analysing, designing and documenting business requirements for payment transactions

•Developing business concepts and specifying business and IT requirements

•Managing change requests from requirements gathering through to successful implementation

•Analysing and coordinating interfaces, data flows and integration requirements

•Working closely with business departments, IT, external partners and other stakeholders

•Coordinating and aligning requirements within a complex project environment

•Providing support with business-related quality assurance, testing and the preparation of documentation

•Taking responsibility for a sub-area or workstream within the project

•Specification at Epic / Feature / Story level (SAFe)

•Alignment with BCM and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

•A degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science or Business Administration

•Several years’ professional experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Business Engineer on complex projects

•In-depth knowledge of payment transactions, ideally within the context of ISO 20022 and modern payment standards

•Experience in the analysis, modelling and specification of business and technical requirements

•Good understanding of system landscapes, interfaces and integration processes

•Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe

•IREB or ITIL certifications are an advantage

•An analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach to work

•A strong communicator and team player with a high degree of initiative and a strong focus on quality

•Knowledge of CAMT / MX Messages (ISO 20022)

•Experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM) / emergency procedures

•Experience with non-functional requirements and interface specifications
