LendSure Mortgage Corp. is a fast-growing Wholesale Lender offering Non-QM loan solutions. LendSure helps mortgage originators grow their business by offering loan solutions to borrowers who do not fall into conforming guidelines. At LendSure Mortgage Corp., we have created an environment where high-energy professionals can learn, excel, grow and feel great about their contributions to our success.

We are committed to attracting and retaining top talent throughout the United States. LendSure offers full salary, benefits, and opportunity to grow within the company.

Work Location

This position may be performed remotely; however, the process-improvement & project management team and the executive team are based at LendSure's headquarters in San Diego, California, so candidates who can work onsite on a regular or periodic basis are preferred. Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, location, and ability to work from the San Diego office.

Overview

LendSure is seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager to serve as a key liaison between our business teams-including Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders-and our internal technical development team responsible for our Encompass loan origination system. This position will report to LendSure's Manager of Operations, who oversees technical projects across all areas of our workflow.

This role is ideal for someone who understands both the business and technical sides of mortgage lending and can translate operational needs into clear, actionable requirements for developers. The successful candidate will help identify opportunities for process improvement, define and prioritize system enhancements, manage projects from concept through implementation, and ensure that Encompass supports the evolving needs of the business-especially in conjunction with our other platforms that connect to Encompass, such as our CRM, our broker portal, and our income analysis tools.

Most importantly, we seek a candidate who can use their experience and their technical skills to analyze our Encompass workflows and ask good questions, so that they identify opportunities for improvement that others may overlook and can anticipate downstream impacts. This candidate must shepherd projects to completion even when there are many competing priorities and limited resources to tackle them.

Duties and Responsibilities

This role will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and our internal Encompass development team.

  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and other departments to understand business processes, challenges, and system requirements.
  • Gather, analyze, document, and refine business and functional requirements for Encompass enhancements, integrations, workflow changes, and related technology initiatives; translate these into user stories, specifications, process flows, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
  • Evaluate incoming enhancement requests to identify dependencies, risks, downstream impacts, and opportunities to simplify or improve existing processes.
  • Independently discover opportunities to reduce manual work, improve data quality, and increase efficiency in our Encompass workflows, and incorporate these ideas into our project pipeline.
  • Manage projects and system initiatives from initial discovery and planning through development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation review.
  • Partner with developers and technical resources, including third-party vendors, to clarify requirements and resolve questions throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Develop a strong understanding of LendSure's unique products, policies, and operations-we do much of our business on an exception basis, and our technical projects must support that ethos.

As part of their duties, the Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager must track, document, and report progress across a range of ongoing projects.

  • Help establish and maintain consistent standards for requirements, change management, testing, documentation, and implementation concerning all Encompass-related initiatives.
  • Coordinate priorities, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across teams.
  • Maintain project plans, requirements documentation, issue logs, decisions, and other project artifacts as appropriate.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

This role plays a key part in our change-management process both before and after deployment.

  • Organize and support user acceptance testing, including development of test scenarios and validation of completed functionality against business requirements.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for issues involving Encompass.
  • Coordinate rollouts and announcements with the corporate training team, particularly by compiling release notes and by scheduling and giving demos to that team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working with Encompass in a technical, analytical, business systems, administrative, development, or implementation capacity strongly preferred.
  • Significant experience in business analysis, project management, systems analysis, product ownership, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage lending workflows and the loan origination lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather complex requirements from business users and translate them into clear, detailed technical and functional specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand how a proposed system change may affect multiple workflows, teams, and processes.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, priorities, and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with executives, business users, operations teams, and technical personnel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with user acceptance testing, software releases, change management, and software development lifecycles.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a distributed team.

Preferred Experience

  • Deep knowledge of the Encompass LOS, including configuration, business rules, workflows, personas, fields, forms, integrations, reporting, or related development.
  • Experience in a wholesale or non-QM mortgage lending environment.
  • Experience analyzing and redesigning mortgage operations workflows.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, data mapping, databases, or other technical concepts relevant to Encompass.
  • Experience working in an Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or similar development environment.
  • Experience using project management and requirements-management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms.
