Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (hybrid, with regular days at our Amsterdam office)
Chargetrip is the EV routing and navigation engine for the energy transition. Our API-based solutions empower fleets, rental/leasing companies, CPOs, eMSPs, and OEMs to deliver smarter, energy-aware routing, dynamic charging planning, and meaningful CO₂ reductions. We’re passionate about clean mobility and building scalable B2B partnerships across Europe, and soon, the world.
We care more about curiosity, teamwork, and real impact than formal structures or fixed ways of doing things.
As our next Senior Business Developer, based in Amsterdam, you’ll be on the front lines of electrifying mobility at scale. You’ll design and lead targeted growth strategies, drive outbound initiatives, nurture strategic relationships, and close mid-market to enterprise SaaS partnerships within various segments.
You’ll play a pivotal role in:
- Shaping go-to-market campaigns to tackle enterprise deals
- Educating prospects on our dynamic routing, charging cost optimization and time-to-value
- Owning full-market-cycle deals from discovery to contract
- Collaborating closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing for seamless execution
- Create and grow Chargetrip’s plays in CPO/eMSP/Leasing/Renting/Dispatching (EV adoption, charging networks, sustainability pledges)
- Prospect and qualify via multi-threaded outreach (LinkedIn, personalized emails, industry events)
- Lead discovery and commercial dialogues, focusing on product fit, energy savings, ROI, and TCO
- Negotiate and close contracts; you’ll own end-to-end sales cycles
- Partner with Product and Marketing, offering sector insights to guide future product enhancements and collateral
- Track OKRs: pipeline health, conversion rates, deal velocity, ARR growth, ensuring healthy sales momentum
We’re looking for someone who already knows the EV world and is ready to build it with us from Amsterdam. You’ll bring:
- Prior professional experience in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, which is a must for this role
- An Amsterdam base: you live in or near Amsterdam and work regularly from our office
- The legal right to work in the EU, as we’re unable to sponsor visas for non-EU candidates
- 3–5 years in B2B SaaS or mobility tech sales, ideally in the EV, fleet, or fuel card industry
- A proven history of selling into CPOs/eMSPs/Leasing/OEMs and/or Dispatching (Enterprise/Mid-market)
- Comfort with data-driven selling: ROI modelling, business case building, quantifying fleet efficiencies
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to guide technical and executive stakeholders
- The ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms and tailor messages to different audiences
- A collaborative, curious approach: you enjoy working cross-functionally and learning continuously
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
- A scrappy, entrepreneurial mindset: adept at owning deals, adapting to change, and driving forward
