Job Description

This is a remote position.

Senior Business Development Manager EMEA

We’re looking for a proactive, results-driven sales professional who loves opening new doors and turning prospects into customers.

In this role, you’ll own the relationships that matter, turn conversations into revenue, and become the person leads and prospects call before they call anyone else. You’ll fit right in if you’re curious about how businesses actually work, comfortable talking to anyone from a project manager to an executive and driven by targets without losing sight of the people behind them.

And here’s what’s on our side of the deal: a team where your pipeline is yours to build, where learning is expected rather than squeezed in, and where we back your advancement every day.

You’re already qualified if you have:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including significant enterprise software/technology sales experience.
  • A proven, consistent track record of personally closing significant enterprise deals.
  • The ability to demonstrate quota attainment, revenue performance and examples of significant deals they personally won.
  • The ability to talk through several deals end-to-end e.g. customer challenge, stakeholders, sales process, objections, negotiation, deal value and why the customer bought.
  • The experience navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles, from operational users through to executives, Economic Buyers, procurement, legal and finance.
  • Proven expertise in complex commercial and contractual discussions while protecting value.
  • Proven experience using MEDDPICC or a similar structured enterprise sales methodology to qualify and progress complex opportunities.
  • Fluent written and spoken English abilities, together with strong professional working proficiency in French. Knowledge of other languages relevant to the assigned region, such as Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese, is an advantage.
  • Experience with Sales Navigator, a must have.
  • Experience in working with HubSpot or a similar tool, a must have.

What you’ll do in this position

As senior BDM in Our Client’s Sales Team,

  • You will own new business development and opportunities from prospecting through qualification, negotiation and contract signature until handing them over to the CSM colleagues, finally.
  • You will identify new opportunities and hunt prospects in the countries, France, Spain, Italy, UK and Portugal, for Enterprises, NGOs and GOs and the LSP market,
  • Represent Our Client at relevant industry events, some traveling included.
  • You will be responsible of building, nurturing and maintaining a consistent pipeline through outbound prospecting, account research, networking, referrals, events and inbound opportunities.
  • Gather information to identify personas and roles within the leads you are dealing with (MEDDPICC).
  • Maintain and up-date this information in HubSpot, the central data repository for Our Clients’ leads and customers.
  • Cooperate closely with your superior the Regional Director to allocate means and activities in the most promising industries and areas.

Requirements

What we think will help you succeed in this role

It’s hard to tick all the boxes. But here is what helps make a difference:

  • Real skill with people: you can read a room, handle a difficult conversation, and negotiate without burning the relationship.
  • A solution-finder’s instinct: you go looking for the answer that unlocks the decision instead of waiting for it.
  • You are experienced in using MEDDPICC or a similar structured enterprise sales methodology to qualify and progress complex opportunities.
  • Able to run your own week without being managed through it.
  • You have a high level of intrinsic motivation.
  • You love to hunt new leads, close new deals and to perform.

Benefits

The return on your investment

You’re evaluating us too. Here’s the pitch:

  • An international team spread across Europe, Africa and the middle east, serving clients in 15+ languages.
  • Real onboarding: a buddy, a plan, and no expectation of you figuring it out alone.
  • Fully remotely.
  • Annual learning budget for courses, certifications, conferences.
