We are seeking a talented Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team


Summary:

Designs, develops, and maintains business intelligence solutions that transform data into clear, accurate, and actionable insights. This role partners with Service Operations stakeholders to understand reporting needs, build scalable dashboards, validate data, optimize performance, and support data-driven decision-and continuous business improvement across the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, tests, and maintains Tableau dashboards, reports, and visual analytics solutions that translate business requirements into clear, actionable insights.
  • Partners with business leaders, analysts, data owners, and cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs, define success measures, and deliver solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Connects Tableau to approved data sources, builds efficient data models, and prepares data structures that support accurate, scalable, and user-friendly reporting.
  • Develops and maintains Tableau Prep flows, calculated fields, parameters, filters, and dashboard logic to improve automation, consistency, and reporting efficiency.
  • Validates data accuracy by reviewing source data, reconciling dashboard results, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues before reports are published or distributed.
  • Optimizes dashboard performance by improving workbook design, data extracts, queries, filters, and visual layouts to support timely refreshes and effective user interaction.
  • Creates intuitive visualizations that highlight trends, performance drivers, risks, exceptions, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Publishes, schedules, and manages Tableau content in accordance with established governance, security, access, and version control standards.
  • Documents dashboard requirements, data definitions, calculations, refresh processes, assumptions, and maintenance procedures to support transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Provides ongoing support to dashboard users by troubleshooting issues, answering questions, gathering feedback, and implementing approved enhancements.
  • Monitors reporting processes and dashboard usage to identify improvement opportunities, reduce manual work, and strengthen the reliability of analytics deliverables.
  • Maintains awareness of Tableau capabilities, business intelligence best practices, and data visualization standards to continuously improve reporting quality and user experience.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to support departmental goals, business performance analytics, and organizational reporting needs.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field, or four years of related work experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, Tableau development, or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of Tableau dashboard design, data visualization principles, and business intelligence best practices.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, data structures, data modeling concepts, and reporting data sources.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, access controls, version management, and documentation practices related to analytics content.
  • Skill in developing Tableau workbooks, dashboards, calculations, parameters, filters, actions, and published data sources.
  • Skill in using SQL or similar query tools to extract, transform, join, validate, and analyze data.
  • Skill in translating complex data into clear visual stories that support business performance monitoring, trend analysis, and decision-making.
  • Skill in troubleshooting dashboard, data refresh, performance, and data quality issues.
  • Ability to gather, interpret, and document business requirements and convert them into effective reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Ability to validate data, identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver accurate, high-quality work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ask effective questions, incorporate feedback, and continuously improve analytics deliverables.
