  • Documentation, operational handover and support for self-service Power BI users

Key Activities:

  • Develop, test, document and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business needs and Bolton Clarke standards

  • Design mature conceptual, logical and physical data models using dimensional modelling and star schema principles
  • Build reporting logic and transformations using DAX, M/Power Query and T-SQL
  • Partner with data engineers to define upstream data warehouse, database and integration requirements
  • Create and execute test plans, validate report outcomes and provide clear handover to operational users
  • Support and coach users and self-service Power BI developers while contributing to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Skills and experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience developing, testing, documenting and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Demonstrated capability in dimensional data modelling, star schemas and relational database principles
  • Advanced skills in DAX and M/Power Query, with practical T-SQL experience
  • Ability to translate business requirements into accurate, intuitive and maintainable reporting solutions
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and best practice
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and operational teams
  • Health or aged care sector experience will be well regarded but is not essential

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Current PL-300 Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification
  • Relevant industry certification in Power BI data modelling, DAX or M/Power Query is highly regarded
