Senior Business Management Analyst, Global Sustainability

POSITION PURPOSE

The Senior Business Management Analyst will support a range of business management functions to ensure that the Global Sustainability team continues to operate efficiently and within a risk-aware environment.

The Sustainability team are subject matter experts on environmental and social issues and work in tandem with our Governance team to support Analysts and Portfolio Managers in integrating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations into the investment process.    

Principal Responsibilities

• Support management of subscriptions to collaborative initiatives and memberships of sustainable-related organizations
• Support the review and update process of sustainable investment policies
• Manage the administration of the team’s SharePoint site
• Support in ESG projects when required
• Participate in pre-trade monitoring
• Support the quarterly portfolio review process
• Support the team’s operational resilience, risk monitoring and business impact analysis processes

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in asset management, investment management or a comparable financial services environment.
• Demonstrable experience in business management, investment operations, investment controls, risk, governance or a related function.
• Experience working with multiple senior stakeholders and independently managing competing priorities and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of the importance of risk, controls, governance and regulatory requirements within financial services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different functions and levels of seniority.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and resourceful, with the judgement and confidence to take ownership of work and drive activities through to completion.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of using AI to gain efficiencies e.g. CoPilot, Claude and other tools
• Awareness of risk and compliance environment within financial services
• Passion for Sustainability

Work Flexibility:

The position is eligible to work from home one day per week.
