Bring your expertise to an industry with purpose, scale and global impact.
At MUFG Pension & Market Services, your expertise in business analysis, process improvement, product ownership and financial advice technology can translate into meaningful work supporting better retirement outcomes for Australians.
As Senior Business Solutions Lead, you’ll play a key role within Retire360, taking ownership of advice systems, processes and technology-enabled improvements. You’ll work across Advice, Product, Operations and Technology to simplify how work gets done, improve adviser and client experiences, and turn complex business problems into practical, scalable solutions.
You don’t need to be a superannuation specialist. We’re particularly interested in people who understand financial advice technologies and processes and can combine strong business analysis capability with process improvement and product ownership experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Own and help manage advice systems and products, working with business and technology stakeholders to ensure they continue to meet adviser, client and operational needs.
- Lead end-to-end analysis of adviser, client and operational processes, documenting current-state workflows and designing practical future-state solutions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, remove manual activity and improve workflows through automation, AI and technology enablement.
- Translate complex business problems into clear requirements, process designs, business rules and scalable technology-enabled solutions.
- Apply your product ownership mindset to prioritise improvements, shape capability roadmaps and ensure solutions address the underlying business problem.
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops across Advice, Product, Operations, Technology, Risk and Compliance, challenging existing processes and building alignment around future-state solutions.
- Support solutions through the full lifecycle, including discovery, design, requirements, testing, operational readiness, implementation and post-implementation optimisation.
- Define measures of success and track benefits such as improved adviser experience, reduced manual effort, increased capacity, faster turnaround times and reduced operational risk.
What we’re looking for
You’ll bring a combination of business analysis, process improvement and product ownership capability, ideally gained within financial advice, wealth management or a related technology environment.
You will also have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, process improvement specialist or business solutions professional, ideally operating on complex or cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience with financial advice technology, such as Xplan or comparable financial planning, CRM, workflow or case-management platforms.
- Strong capability in process mapping, process documentation, requirements definition, workflow design and current-state/future-state analysis.
- Experience owning or managing business systems or technology-enabled products and working closely with Product, Technology and operational teams.
- A track record of identifying process inefficiencies and delivering practical improvements through simplification, automation or technology.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the confidence to challenge existing practices and influence senior stakeholders.
- A practical technology mindset and an interest in tools such as Power Platform, Power Automate, AI and generative AI to solve real business problems.
- Experience working in regulated financial services would be advantageous, but previous superannuation experience is not essential.
