We are looking for an astute, determined professional like you to fulfill a Senior Business Systems Analyst. You will showcase your success through collaboration, ownership, and innovation.
This position drives the annual delivery of projects on the IT&S roadmap, providing both business analysis and project coordination functions as needed. The candidate will independently drive requirements, analysis, stakeholder follow-up, and delivery coordination across all phases of the project and software development lifecycles, while following the existing process framework and providing suggestions to keep it current and effective.
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will consult with the business unit and related supporting functions to conduct in-depth business analysis, including current-state and future-state process mapping, data analysis, and traceability from requirements through delivery. This role will also work closely with U.S.-based business users, technology partners, QA, vendors, and cross-functional delivery teams to maintain overall project quality within the planned scope, schedule, and cost.
This position may require researching and evaluating alternative solutions and recommending the most efficient and cost-effective solution for a business need.

Your Impact:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with business clients, including Private Credit investment teams, centralized credit & capital markets teams, and the operations and finance teams that support
- them.
- Partner with various resources as needed, including corporate partners and outside vendors.
- Serve as a liaison between business partners and the IT development group to ensure business requirements align with Private Credit and PGIM technology standards.
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business and technology stakeholders, translating business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and delivery-ready documentation.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing coordination, defect triage, and release readiness activities in partnership with product owners, technology teams, QA, and business users.
- Analyze current-state and future-state processes, data flows, integrations, reports, and operational impacts to ensure solutions are complete, scalable, and aligned to Private Credit business needs.
- Partner with U.S.-based stakeholders, business users, technology partners, QA, vendors, and cross-functional delivery teams to ensure clear communication, timely follow-up, and effective execution.
- Plan and support UAT activities by defining test scenarios, coordinating business validation, tracking defects, and confirming requirements are met before release.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability across business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test execution, defects, and delivery outcomes.
- Gain familiarity with all aspects of Private Credit’s and PGIM’s business model in order to effectively develop or integrate new system applications and/or improve existing business processes.
- Drive delivery coordination by developing project plans, managing timelines, tracking dependencies, and proactively following up with stakeholders to maintain project schedules.
- Summarize complex issues clearly, escalate risks and blockers appropriately, and prepare concise updates for business and technology leadership.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Your Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of IT experience with a focus on business analysis and project coordination, with a stronger emphasis on business analysis and independent ownership of requirements delivery.
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
- Experience with Agile delivery practices, including user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, testing coordination, and release readiness.
- Experience using Jira or similar tools to manage requirements, backlog items, defects, dependencies, delivery status, and traceability.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required, including the ability to work with large data sets.
- Strong knowledge of the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to effectively partner and build relationships with U.S.-based stakeholders, business users, cross-functional delivery teams, technology partners, vendors, and systems partners.
- Ability to work independently, drive stakeholder follow-up, and coordinate delivery activities with minimal guidance.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex issues clearly and prepare concise updates for business and technology leadership.
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis.
- Ability to identify, communicate, and escalate risks, blockers, assumptions, and dependencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Strong team player.
- Comfortable voicing opinions and making recommendations for process improvements.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL preferred.
- Ability to read and understand API messaging.
- Ability to quickly understand flows and integrations between platforms.
- Strong listening skills, with the ability to ask questions and drive down to the appropriate level of detail when necessary.
- Experience with integrations, reporting, and migrations across back-office and middle-office financial platforms is a plus.
