Senior C++ Developer

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our compact development team to work on our world-class plug-ins. The role involves working with R&D, designers and QA to implement upcoming products, and maintain existing ones on both macOS and Windows. Our product development team currently consists of three C++ developers, a web developer, a QA engineer, a UX designer, a UI designer, and three R&D developers who are mostly working on DSP.

At oeksound, we mostly work 30 hours per week (four days), but a 37.5 hour work week is also possible. Our office is located in Kalasatama, Helsinki, and while partial remote work is possible, we generally expect you to work at the office at least once a week. Please note that currently our daily communication is mostly in Finnish.

Key responsibilities

• Implementing upcoming audio plug-ins as part of our development team in collaboration with designers and the R&D team
• Maintaining and improving our existing plug-ins and in-house plug-in frameworks

What we require from you

• Proven track record of efficiently producing high-performance, readable, and reliable code, while keeping the user-experience in mind
• Expert level C++ skills with at least 5 years of professional experience as a senior developer (or equivalent experience)
• Experience developing software on macOS or Windows
• Deep insights into the developments and trends in the software development field
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a software development team environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in Finnish or English

Salary range for this position with 30 h/week: 5800 - 6800 €/ month.
