Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on C++ experience

• Excellent English communication skills

• Proven experience maintaining legacy Windows desktop applications

• Strong experience with Microsoft MFC (application UI layer)

• Experience with proprietary/custom data mapping layers in C++

• Experience with FairCom c-tree, ISAM, or similar indexed sequential database engines

• Able to work independently and remotely with minimal oversight

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior C++ Engineer to join a long-term client engagement maintaining and extending a legacy Windows desktop dental practice management application.

This is a hands-on technical role. You will work on an existing codebase that requires someone who can navigate complex legacy systems carefully, debug deep issues, and deliver stable improvements without disrupting what already works. You will be part of a senior remote team with daily standups and a sprint-based workflow.
