We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the COM Development team and play a key role in the development, maintenance, and modernization of the Infor COM solution. This position is ideal for an experienced software engineer with strong C++ expertise who enjoys working with complex enterprise applications, solving challenging technical problems, and contributing to the long-term evolution of a mature business-critical product.

About the Team

The COM Development team is responsible for delivering and maintaining a long-established enterprise solution used by customers worldwide. The team is actively modernizing the product while ensuring stability and continuity for existing installations. As a senior engineer, you will have a direct impact on technical decisions, product quality, and the future direction of the COM platform.



A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

  • Design, develop, and maintain core components of the Infor COM solution.
  • Implement new functionality and enhancements in close collaboration with Product Owners, Consulting, Support, QA, and other Development teams.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code in C++ and Java.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
  • Investigate and resolve complex customer-reported issues and product defects.
  • Contribute to modernization initiatives, including technology upgrades, platform migrations, and architectural improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvements in software quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Support automated testing and CI/CD initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Several years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C++ development in complex software systems.
  • Good knowledge of Java and object-oriented software development principles.
  • Experience working with large, mature codebases and enhancing existing software while maintaining backward compatibility.
  • Experience modernizing legacy applications and refactoring software without disrupting business-critical functionality.
  • Experience with multithreaded applications and performance optimization.
  • Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and debugging techniques.
  • Experience with source control systems, build pipelines, and modern development practices.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large-scale enterprise or ERP applications.
  • Experience with modernization projects involving legacy systems.
  • Experience with Java 21 and modern Java development practices.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, integration technologies, and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience mentoring less experienced engineers.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain business processes.
