The HSB Hub plays a key role in enhancing professional understanding and practice in relation to harmful sexual behaviour through consultation, assessment, intervention, and workforce development. The successful candidate will benefit from a comprehensive training package, including AIM qualifications, additional HSB training, and a range of bespoke professional development opportunities.
Applicants must meet the essential qualification requirements, which include a relevant degree, Degree with PCEP in Youth Justice, and/or a recognised professional qualification such as Social Work, Youth Work, or Probation. Candidates will also need to demonstrate the required experience, knowledge, and skills outlined within the person specification.
The successful postholder will work directly with children and their families to complete effective assessments and interventions that promote positive outcomes. The role will involve close partnership working with a range of agencies and professionals and will include undertaking consultations, supporting the completion of AIM3 assessments, and delivering direct intervention work with children and their families.
All aspects of the role are underpinned by CYJS principles of being Child First, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and restorative in approach. The successful candidate will be committed to recognising and building on the strengths of children and families, developing meaningful relationships, and working collaboratively with parents, carers, and partner agencies to achieve sustainable change.
