Senior Cisco Security Specialist – Secure Access (Immediately available/short notice)

Role Purpose

CyberPro Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Cisco Security Specialist to support a Cisco Secure Access project.

The successful candidate will provide technical assurance between the architecture and implementation phases, ensuring that technical designs are sound, implementation approaches are appropriate, and solutions align with enterprise networking and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical assurance between solution architecture and implementation.
  

• Review technical designs and validate proposed implementation approaches.
  

• Assess Cisco Secure Access solutions against networking and security requirements.
  

• Identify technical gaps, risks and potential implementation challenges.
  

• Work closely with solution architects, engineers, implementation teams and vendors.
  

• Provide technical guidance and support during implementation activities.
  

• Assist with technical troubleshooting, testing and implementation readiness.
  

• Validate integration with existing enterprise infrastructure, identity and end-user computing environments.
  

• Help ensure that implemented solutions meet the required technical and security standards.
  

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Strong, demonstrable experience in Cisco networking and security.
  

• Knowledge of Cisco Secure Access and modern secure access environments.
  

• Solid understanding of Active Directory and identity integration.
  

• Experience with ManageEngine technologies.
  

• Knowledge of end-user computing and endpoint management environments.
  

• Experience working across technical architecture and implementation phases.
  

• Ability to assess technical solutions, identify risks and provide practical recommendations.
  

• At least 8 years of relevant networking, infrastructure or security experience.
  

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a technically strong Cisco security specialist with the experience and confidence to engage with architects, engineers and vendors.

The individual should understand the technical detail behind enterprise networking and security solutions and be comfortable providing independent technical assurance to ensure that implementation activities are delivered correctly.

This is a specialist technical role rather than a traditional project or people management position.
