This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Planning Administrator or Client Support Executive looking to take the next step in their career.
You'll be a trusted partner to Financial Planners, helping manage client relationships, coordinating complex administration, supporting new business and ongoing servicing activities, and contributing to the smooth running of the team. You'll also have the opportunity to support and develop junior colleagues and, depending on experience, may have line management responsibilities.
What you'll do
Client Support
- Support Financial Planners with the preparation and delivery of client meetings.
- Produce client meeting packs, annual review documentation and supporting reports.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients on administrative matters.
- Coordinate client onboarding activities, including compliance and AML requirements.
- Support annual reviews and ongoing servicing arrangements.
- Mentor and support junior team members with more complex client requirements.
Financial Planning Administration
- Process new business applications, fund switches, transfers and top-ups.
- Maintain accurate client records within our CRM systems.
- Liaise with providers, clients and internal stakeholders to progress cases efficiently.
- Produce review documentation, valuations and client communications.
- Reconcile adviser charging and maintain high standards of data quality.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and client service.
Compliance & Governance
- Complete electronic AML and client verification checks.
- Prepare and submit documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready client records.
- Support the delivery of positive client outcomes and Treating Customers Fairly principles.
Technical & Suitability Support
- Gather information, provider data and product illustrations.
- Assist with cashflow modelling and financial planning analysis.
- Produce suitability reports and supporting client documentation.
- Prepare costs and charges disclosures.
- Support the integrity and maintenance of client data.
Team Leadership
Where applicable, you may:
- Provide guidance and coaching to colleagues.
- Support onboarding and training activities.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings.
- Monitor service delivery and team performance.
- Encourage professional development and qualification progression.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- 3-5 years' experience within Financial Services, ideally supporting Financial Planners.
- Experience working in a Financial Planning, Wealth Management or IFA environment.
- Level 4 Diploma qualified or actively working towards qualification.
- Strong understanding of Financial Planning administration and client servicing processes.
- Knowledge of FCA-regulated environments and compliance requirements.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
