This opportunity is part of an established clinical contracting function that supports global clinical studies through efficient agreement negotiation and contract management. The team operates within a structured environment with established templates, negotiation guidance, and processes designed to help experienced professionals manage complex contracting workloads independently.

  • 100% remote opportunity within the United States, with working availability aligned to Eastern Time business hours.

  • Part-time engagement: Approximately 20 hours per week.

  • Flexible scheduling: Workloads may vary initially, with the potential for more predictable working hours as responsibilities stabilize.

  • Contract duration: Approximately seven months.

  • Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099).

  • Opportunity to support global clinical trial programs across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Established contracting templates, negotiation guidance, and experienced legal team support.

  • Independent ownership of clinical contracting activities within a collaborative legal environment.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Independently manage the drafting, review, and negotiation of clinical trial agreements supporting domestic and international clinical research programs.

  • Apply established agreement templates, negotiation parameters, and approved contractual fallback positions to resolve issues efficiently.

  • Manage multiple concurrent clinical contracting negotiations, balancing deadlines, stakeholder expectations, and contract complexity.

  • Maintain timely contract review cycles, generally returning agreement revisions within 24–48 hours of receipt.

  • Coordinate directly with research sites, internal legal colleagues, and clinical stakeholders to advance agreements toward execution.

  • Oversee contract execution activities, including electronic signature routing, amendments, and agreement tracking.

  • Maintain accurate contract status information, correspondence records, and supporting documents within designated systems.

  • Support operational reporting by recording contract progress, negotiation activity, and relevant workflow metrics.

  • Organize agreements and supporting documentation using SharePoint and other established repositories.

  • Independently troubleshoot routine contracting questions while escalating matters requiring additional legal guidance.

  • Demonstrated experience negotiating US and international clinical trial agreements.

  • Proven ability to handle numerous active contract negotiations simultaneously.

  • Experience working with established clinical agreement templates, fallback language, and negotiation playbooks.

  • Ability to independently manage contracting priorities, meet deadlines, and resolve standard negotiation issues.

  • Familiarity with clinical agreement workflows, electronic execution, amendments, and document management.

  • Experience with SharePoint and DocuSign is beneficial.

  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in contract tracking and documentation.

  • Willingness to support both substantive contracting negotiations and related administrative activities.

  • Ability to accommodate fluctuating part-time workloads while remaining responsive during Eastern Time business activity.
