As part of a dynamic and high-performing team, you will play a key role in an exciting initiative that offers opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and maintain project plans, agreements and essential trial documentation, including ethics and governance submissions, study protocols, case report forms and trial master files.
  • Support multi-site trial start-up, site initiation and monitoring activities, maintaining audit-ready documentation and compliance with ICH-GCP, ethics approvals, R&D requirements, SOPs, UQ governance policies and relevant quality standards.
  • Monitor project milestones and contribute to participant recruitment, consent, data collection, budget tracking, financial management, pre-award activities and trial reporting.
  • Build effective relationships with investigators, trial sites, collaborators and other stakeholders, acting as a key contact for routine trial coordination matters and contributing to a positive culture of collaboration, learning and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or professional certification in Health, Science, Project Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the central coordination of multi-centre randomised clinical trials from initiation to completion, including compliance with ICH-GCP, ethics requirements and institutional governance.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies, data management strategies, data integrity principles and clinical trial regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated project and resource management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands, monitor timelines and support delivery of milestones in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience assisting with budget monitoring and reporting and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • A strong commitment to quality, accuracy and precision across trial documentation, data integrity, compliance and reporting, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish productive relationships with investigators, trial sites, collaborators and a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of clinical trial management systems, platforms and tools, combined with adaptability, initiative, sound judgement and a solutions-focused approach to complex or unfamiliar issues.
