Senior Cloud Architect – Enterprise Transformation Leader Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are hiring on behalf of one of the Big 5 companies in Saudi Arabia , seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design and execution of enterprise cloud strategy within a large-scale digital transformation program. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will collaborate closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to drive cloud adoption across mission-critical systems. You will serve as the technical authority for cloud architecture, enabling innovation, scalability, and secure cloud practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities Cloud Strategy & Architecture Define and drive enterprise cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures Lead the adoption of cloud-native technologies and modern engineering practices Establish architectural blueprints aligned with long-term business objectives Solution Design & Delivery Architect end-to-end solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments Design distributed, multi-tier applications at enterprise scale Ensure high performance, resilience, and cost optimization Guide engineering teams on architecture implementation and best practices Governance & Security Establish cloud governance frameworks, standards, and best practices Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and regulatory requirements Act as the technical authority for all cloud-related initiatives Implement robust security, identity, and access management controls Stakeholder Engagement Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders Translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions Provide technical leadership to engineering, DevOps, and platform teams Influence decision-making at both strategic and operational levels Candidate Profile Required Experience Proven experience as a Cloud Architect in large enterprise environments Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Experience designing multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native design patterns Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and governance frameworks Background in software engineering, system design, or infrastructure architecture Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Riyadh Preferred Qualifications Arabic language skills (preferred for stakeholder engagement) Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP – Architect level) Experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes) Experience working within large enterprises or government environments Why Join This Opportunity Be part of a high-profile digital transformation within a leading organization Work closely with senior leadership and decision-makers Shape and influence cloud strategy at enterprise scale Join a fast-growing, innovation-driven environment Long-term, stable career opportunity in Saudi Arabia If you want, I can also make a short LinkedIn version , headhunter outreach message , or tailor it for a specific cloud platform (AWS/Azure focus) .
