Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to support IT infrastructure operations, projects, and technical support across 10+ European sites.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, networking, and virtualization technologies.

This is a full-time, remote position based in Europe, requiring regular travel to Belgium and other EU locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cloud and on-premises IT infrastructure across multiple European sites.
• Provide Level 2 (L2) technical support and resolve infrastructure-related incidents.
• Deploy, configure, and administer Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Intune environments.
• Manage LAN/WAN networks, connectivity, and infrastructure security.
• Support virtualization platforms, including VMware and Hyper-V.
• Plan and execute infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and site integrations.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Support infrastructure security improvements and system performance optimization.
• Collaborate with local IT teams and external vendors across European locations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or cloud administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Windows Server.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Intune.
• Good understanding of LAN/WAN networking, VPNs, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Experience with infrastructure migrations, deployments, and integrations.
• Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and IT security best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed, multi-site environment.
• Good English communication skills.
• Availability for regular business travel within Europe.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT environments across multiple countries.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT service management.
