Senior Cloud Engineer

Senior Cloud Engineer Remote Changeis, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to support enterprise IT shared services operations within a cabinet-level federal agency environment . This role requires advanced cloud computing expertise to manage enterprise infrastructure, resolve incidents, and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions aligned with organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities Manage and administer cloud services using a broad toolset across enterprise infrastructure Resolve incident and problem tickets, identifying root causes and implementing lasting solutions Design and implement solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational goals Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex cloud service issues across compute, storage, and networking Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems requiring evaluation of multiple factors Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on cloud best practices and operational procedures Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years designing, planning, and integrating cloud computing systems Advanced cloud computing skills across compute, storage, networking, and security Foundational-level cloud certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner, AZ-900, or equivalent) Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems Ability to obtain and maintain a federal public trust clearance Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT (Master’s preferred) Associate or Professional-level cloud certification Experience with federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53) Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) Experience working in federal IT environments
