Senior Cloud Engineer - Azure

Job Description We are seeking an experienced senior cloud engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, deploy, and optimize scalable cloud architectures. Based in our Tunis office, you will lead cloud migration initiatives, ensure high availability, and drive security best practices for international clients. Requirements Technical Expertise 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Azure-based solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS (Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL) Proven experience with cloud migration and modernization projects, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and cloud-native refactoring Strong command of Azure networking — Virtual Networks (VNet), ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints, and Load Balancers Hands-on expertise with Identity & Access Management using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) Experience with Azure security tooling: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR), and Azure Policy Infrastructure as Code & Automation Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or ARM/Bicep templates Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS) Monitoring, Performance & Cost Ability to design and maintain observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and custom alerting Experience optimizing cloud spend and governance using Azure Cost Management, Advisor, and Azure Policy Security & Compliance Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, Zero Trust architecture, and data protection principles Ability to contribute to and maintain ISO 27001-compliant security frameworks and documentation Knowledge of GDPR and regulatory compliance requirements within cloud environments Collaboration & Leadership Experience working in hybrid and multi-cloud environments, integrating Azure with on-premises or AWS/GCP workloads Track record of mentoring junior engineers and leading technical reviews or architecture discussions Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Product Nice to Have Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, or AI/ML workloads on Azure Familiarity with FinOps practices and sustainability features in Azure Relevant certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500 Benefits Make a Real Impact from Day One You won't be a number here.
